Quaternary
Part of the Women of the World (WOW) Festival, Brisbane, Quaternary showcases women graduates of QUT Visual Arts whose works utilise the affective power of colour in compelling ways. Acknowledging their individual innovation, every three years artists are invited to participate in this distinctive exhibition. This year Courtney Pedersen, QUT Head of Discipline for Visual Arts, is guest curator. Choosing quality over quantity, Bianca Beetson, Chantal Fraser, Rachael Haynes, Natalya Hughes, Alice Lang, Gemma Smith and Jemima Wyman have been selected as the ones to watch in contemporary art.
