Entries open for the Studios in Paris Scholarship 2015
Once again the Art Gallery of New South Wales is calling for entrants for the Studios in Paris Scholarship.
Available to artists or scholars in the visual arts, the scholarship offers either a two-month tenancy at the Moya Dyring Memorial Studio or three-month tenancy at the Dr Denise Hickey Memorial Studio at the Cité. The Cité Internationale des Arts, Paris is a non-profit international art centre which provides studio accommodation for artists and scholars from around the world.
An exciting edition is the Eva Breuer Travelling Art Scholarship, which will be awarded to one the winners of the the residency scholarships. An award of $25,000, the applicants must be female and 35 years or under at the time of application. The winner will only be chosen from successful applicants for the Studio Scholarship.
